The sole is a composite solution made of TPU for the outsole and PU as a shock-absorbing midsole. Compared to pure PU soles, it is lighter, significantly more flexible, and more resistant to cuts, breaks, abrasion, and wear. TPU soles are characterized by the windshield wiper effect: the shoe wipes standing moisture off the ground, thereby increasing slip resistance. Visually appealing and a mark of quality at the same time is the transparency of the TPU portion of the sole. For added comfort in the safety shoe, the breathable ALBATROS® comfit AIR insole provides shock-absorbing elevations in the heel and ball areas as well as longitudinal arch support. This optimizes the natural posture of the foot inside the shoe and stimulates the muscles while walking. The slip-resistant textile surface is odor-resistant, moisture-absorbing, and washable at 30°C.
